A silent accounts laser is annoying. A carton printer that dies at 6 PM on dispatch is overtime. Digitech treats floor printers as production kit: known model, spare toner or head policy, and a driver that still works after the next Windows update.
Write down what actually prints
Invoice laser in accounts, barcode or inkjet on packing, A3 on the design desk. If the list lives only in someone’s head, the wrong spare arrives and the line waits. We keep that list next to the AMC inventory.
Drivers from us, not a random search
Remote desktop and older MFPs break when someone installs the “full suite” from a download site. Use the package we publish in the Customer Area (DC Print where RDS is involved) or the disc we leave on site.
Dust, power and genuine supplies
Packing halls eat printers. A cheap UPS, a dusty fan and refilled cartridges that leak are the usual “it was fine yesterday” tickets. We note those on the visit, not after the third jam.
Same-day vs next-day
Say which machines jump the queue. A lobby inkjet can wait. The shipping printer should be in writing as same-day if you pay for that SLA. See printer fleet care if you want that named.
